At YOGOODY, we believe that wellbeing expands far beyond nutrition. It also includes the positive actions we take as a team to support our community. With this purpose in mind, the YOGOODY team recently joined Banco Alimentar, a Portuguese organisation that provides essential support to families in vulnerable situations.

Sharing What We Do Best with a YOGOODY SHAKE Donation

As part of this initiative, YOGOODY donated a selection of YOGOODY SHAKE products to help strengthen the support offered by the institution. In total, we contributed:

• 425 units of YOGOODY SHAKE Mango

• 683 units of YOGOODY SHAKE Vanilla

• 67 units of YOGOODY SHAKE Berry

A Day of Helping Hands and Open Hearts

In addition to the donation, six members of the YOGOODY team spent the day working side by side with Banco Alimentar volunteers. Together, they supported a variety of essential tasks, including:

- Serving local institutions and distributing fresh products;
- Bagging and organising assorted food items;
- Preparing support kits for volunteers who will participate in the upcoming campaign on 29 and 30 November.

It was a hands-on experience that allowed us to better understand the scale of the work carried out by Banco Alimentar and the importance of every contribution.

This sentiment was also shared by Banco Alimentar. As Dr. Mariana Nogueira, from Coordination of Volunteering and Social Management, highlighted:

“The YOGOODY volunteers arrived with great joy and a genuine willingness to help. And so, in just a few hours, their dedication turned into yet another significant contribution for Banco Alimentar do Porto and, ultimately, for all the people we support.
For us at Banco Alimentar do Porto, it was truly wonderful to welcome the YOGOODY volunteers.”
