Vanilla Protein Waffles
Indulgent waffles enhanced with the Yogoody Protein.
Can be served with a cocoa flavoured sauce for an even more delicious and filling breakfast!
Preparation + Cooking time: 20 min
Ingredients:
Waffles: 50 g oat flour; 1 sachet 1.2.3 YOG Vanilla; 1 egg; ¼ cup (60 ml) water; ½ teaspoon cinnamon
“Chocolate” sauce: ½ sachet 1.2.3 YOG Protein Vanilla; ~2 tablespoon (10 g) cocoa powder; 40-50 ml water (depending on the consistency desired)
Instructions:
- To make the waffles: in a mixing bowl add oat flour, Yogoody powder, egg, water, and cinnamon, and mix until well combined, and without any lumps; ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron; cook the waffles until golden and crisp.
- To make the “chocolate” sauce: mix in a small bowl the Yogoody powder, cocoa powder, and water.
- Serve the waffles immediately with the “chocolate” sauce, strawberries, or other toppings of choice.
Nutritional Value (per portion): 228 kcal; 6,4 g of fat; 21,7 g of carbohydrates (2,6 g of sugars); 4,3 g of fibre; 18,9 g of protein. Source of fibre, phosphorus, and magnesium.
